Timothy Peters scored his first victory in 64 starts in the Camping World Truck Series on Saturday afternoon at Martinsville. The Red Horse Racing
Safety-Kleen sponsored driver is from near by Danville, VA so this win carried a huge payoff in front of his home town crowd. Safety-Kleen's Todd Bodine came home in second in the race that was delayed due to rain at the Virginia track. Colin Braun ran third, followed by series points leader and Safety-Kleen driver
Ron Hornaday. Kevin Harvick, who lost two laps after pitting under green on Lap 64 because of a flat tire, rallied back to finish fifth. Harvick was on a tear and looked like he could have made it back to the point, but ran out of laps. Hornaday extended his series lead on ninth-place finisher Matt Crafton to 224 points. Mike Skinner, third in the standings, was caught up in a wreck on Lap 168. He finished 23rd and dropped 326 points behind Hornaday. The Trucks follow the Sprint cup teams to Talladega next Saturday for a race that should be wild on the big track in Alabama.
