Busch Saves Gas to Win at New Hampshire

Kyle Busch won the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway on Saturday using fuel strategy to out duel Safety-Kleen's Ron Hornaday. Busch took just 4 seconds of fuel on the last green-flag stop on Lap 172 of 200 and got back on track ahead of Hornaday. A debris caution on Lap 189 helped Busch save enough gas to get to the end of the race. As the laps ran down Safety-Kleen's Kevin Harvick running third had a chance to pass teammate Hornaday - but Hornaday closed the door repeatedly and kept the team owner in third place. Hornaday's second place helped him increase his lead in the series standings to 217 points over Safety-Kleen's Matt Crafton. Crafton finished fourth, followed by series rookie Johnny Sauter. Stacy Compton, Brian Scott, Mike Skinner, Colin Braun and Rick Crawford completed the top 10. Next race is Las Vegas on Saturday.
