Dario Take the Win in Toronto

Dario Franchitti and Ryan Briscoe battled for the win on Sunday afternoon at the Indy Car race in Toronto and at the checkered flag it was Dario by 1.6 seconds over the Penske driven Safety-Kleen sponsored Briscoe. The race was full of action but what do you expect at a tight road course in downtown Toronto. The highlight of the crash fest has to be Paul Tracy diving to the inside of Helio Castroneves at turn one with 18 laps to go, and yes Helio danced his way right into Paul and drove him right into the wall knocking both cars out of the race. Safety-Kleen driver Will Power, the third Penske car had a good race and stayed out of trouble to come home in third while the other Ganassi driver Scott Dixon finished fourth. Justin Wilson fresh off his win at the Glen last week rounded out the top five. Danica Patrick started 12th and had a steady run all day to finish 6th. And finally Ryan Hunter-Reay gave A.J. Foyt Racing its best finish of the season in seventh. Andretti Green driver Marco Andretti recovered from a bad qualifying effort to come home in eighth. Now the Indy Cars travel to western Canada to race at Edmonton in two weeks. Thanks goes out to the Brampton Safety-Kleen branch and especially Mike Jeoffroy for handling the tracks environmental needs this weekend - good job.
