The NHRA visited the Norwalk Dragway in northern Ohio this past weekend and there was a lot at stake for Safety-Kleen's Larry Dixon in the Top Fuel final. Win the race and you move into second place - a loss would drop you to fourth in points. With Allen Johnson tuning the car, guess what happened? Brandon Bernstein over tuned his dragster and smoked the tires and watched Dixon drive away to a 3.98, 294.05-mph victory, the 47th of his career. Dixon remains perfect on the season with four wins in four finals. In the Funny Car final, it was Jack Beckman taking the final round win, the eighth of his Funny Car career, after Bob Tasca III smoked the tires. The Pro Stock final saw Safety-Kleen's Jason Line win and close the gap on points leader Jeg Coughlin. Line won by a mile in Pro Stock terms with a 6.66, 207.30 to 6.74, 203.71. Next for the NHRA stars is Denver in two weeks and the first stop on the famous Western Swing.
