Valentino Rossi Wins 100 Race

Valentino Rossi won the race at Aspen this past Saturday and claimed his 100th MotoGP victory. The reigning champion led a Yamaha one-two for the second successive race, beating his teammate Jorge Lorenzo to the checkered flag. Dani Pedrosa jumped into the lead at the start, but crashed out early leaving Casey Stoner to finish in third. Colin Edwards ended up in fourth on a Yamaha while Chris Vermeulen, who scored his best performance of 2009, finished in fifth.
